Scott Armitage

Biography

Scott Armitage graduated from the Denver University School of Law in 1994 and immediately started his own practice in October of that year. Prior to that, he acquired over 10 years of experience in real estate and title insurance law in his home state of Pennsylvania. Scott obtained a BA degree in English from Muhlenberg College in 1986. After a five-year stint as a manager for a title insurance company, Scott enrolled in the law school at Denver University.

Scott has tried numerous cases to a jury and to the court. His first trials consisted primarily of misdemeanor criminal cases, breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes, and contested divorce and custody cases. Scott has since tried a number of personal injury cases along with some complex real estate and commercial transaction cases. He was lead counsel in two defective product actions against a foreign automobile manufacturer which were successfully settled just prior to trial.

Scott's care and attention to all aspects of his clients' cases are unmatched. He is sensitive to the financial and emotional costs legal issues impose upon his clients. His goal is to keep you informed on a continuing basis regarding the status of your case and to answer all of your questions quickly and decisively, so that the best possible results might be obtained.

Supreme Court

My mission is to provide you “hands-on” assistance, guidance and advice in your legal matters and to obtain the best results for you.  That is how I’ve always practiced and will continue to do so relying upon over 25 years of experience as a lawyer.  Communication is an easy word to throw out there but successful communication requires good listening by your attorney so that your goals can be understood and realized. Experience in and out of the courtroom has provided me with a perspective of the practical aspects of your issues instead of just a legal, technical view.
